Small commitment.  BIG rewards!

Reading Buddies is a "mini-mentoring" program and an extension of Kinship that is implemented in Princeton's Primary School.  We serve two second grade classrooms where each child is matched with their own Reading Buddy.  First, the buddies eat lunch together and then read together afterwards.

The commitment is small, but the rewards are big!  Reading Buddies commit to 45 minutes every other Tuesday from mid-October to mid-May.  Many of our Reading Buddies keep coming back year after year because they enjoy it so much!  Not only are they forming a wonderful friendship, they are helping a child develop their reading skills.  Win win!
